Real Autumn

My friend Jenny laughs at me when I tell her I can feel Fall in the air. The fact that I live in California means that in order to feel Fall, I’ve had to hone my skills in detecting small climate changes.
This weekend Paul and I are in New York for a wedding and the colors in Albany are amazing. The trees are beautiful hues of oranges, reds and yellows. Okay okay Jenny you’re right, Fall in California is nothing compared to states where they actually experience the leaf color changing kind of Fall, but it’s all I got…so as long as I am a Californian I will just have to imagine them in my mind.
