I can relate on so many levels! I remember cringing when I told people my due date, knowing that the look of shock on their faces meant, " I can't imagine her getting any bigger and she still has three months to go!" Pregnancy is such a beautiful, disgusting, miraculous, scary mess. But when its over its over. I miss it at times, but, then I am reminded of round ligament pain and not being able to put on my own underwear. ;)

Awww the pooping fears! It's so funny before I had my first I worried about it when my friend who is a labour and delivery nurse mentioned that she might pop in to help coach me. I gave her a look that made her realize she shouldn't. But then in the middle of labour I was yelling Where's Nancy??? I didn't care what was going on and who was seeing my hoo-ha! LOL The doc peeked in and forgot to close the curtain a nurse worried I didn't. Yes it is ok to do whatever you have to do make yourself feel better. I found if I told people how far along I was I either got a "Oh my! You are too small for that far along, you need to eat" or a "Oh my!! You are too huge for only being at that point!!! Are you sure it isn't twins??? or triplets?" There is no winning, so if lying to them helps you, then go for it!!
