One of my friends happens to be charming and witty and beautiful. She also happens to get all giggly and nervous around the opposite sex. So, I figured I would give her some advice on how to approach a new guy that she is interested in.
Below is how I suggested their next conversation should play out.
As a side note, both names have been changed to ensure their privacy and protect their identities.*
Ilya: Hey Clark…I wanted to set you up with someone
Clark: Really?
Ilya: Yes, so I needs to know if you have a lady friend or are otherwise engaged?
Clark: No, I’m not.
Ilya: Fantastic, I will let me know.
*That’s a lie actually.

Paul and I spent the day with one of my best friends Jami. She has recently become very involved in photography and is well on her way to capturing many amazing photographs. I am lucky to have such a talented and wonderful friend who was willing to spend the day in Trabuco Canyon taking our engagement pictures. Here are a handful of them.

Last weekend we had a wedding to go to for one of Paul’s friends. I was not looking forward to the wedding because I was still in a good deal of knee pain and even more important, I was not looking forward to dressing fancy but being condemned to dumpy flats which was a slap in the face of my fancy dress.
